In addition to other talents & skills (web page developer, graphic design, AIDS activist, AwesomelyLuvvie.com), Luvvie Ajayi (@luvvieig on Twitter) is a comedic writer and creator of DumbestTweets where you can get a daily dose and more of the way the American Educational system has failed its children. From stunning misspellings to appalling logic, it’s all there for us to witness. Here’s an example from the website:
DumbestTweets are both sad and amusing, which is why we love it so much. Luvvie began cataloguing with a low-key but brilliantly funny woman, @MissZindzi. They started with individual tweets and posts and then Luvvie moved on to full time well over a year ago, so much so that DumbestTweets were nominated for a 2011 Black Weblog Award.
Enter Alonzo Lerone. He liked DumbestTweets.com, too, especially after Luvvie took her time to catalog the Top 50 Dumbest Tweets of 2011. Alonzo took those, screen shot them, and made a YouTube video just reading them aloud and laughing.
The video made it to World Star Hip Hop (we’re not linking, the site is just too ignorant) and continued with no attribution to Luvvie. Stealing someone’s intellectual property is a no-no. Not giving proper attribution is a no-no. Stealing the work of artists Twitter loves is also a no-no.
